I teach technical communication in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. I primarily team-teach freshmen "Introduction to Engineering" courses, in which students work on teams to design (and often build and test) a system or product.

I'm also a student in the hybrid PhD program in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology through the College of Education at Michigan State University. My research focuses on the facilitation of engineering design teams.
